How Does It Work?

Start your digital assets journey with a few simple steps

Step 1:

Open an account and complete the Know-your-customer (KYC) process on the platform

This typically takes less than 24-48 hours with all supporting documents in place. Investors are also encouraged to read the risk disclaimer associated with digital assets and are expected to adhere to all the Anti-money laundering and the Combating the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) policies set forth by Chintai.

Step 2:

Funding the account and start trading

We accept USD, which is custodised by licenced custodians in Singapore and Globally. Once the account is successfully funded, you can begin trading. It is important to know that the monies are held with the custodians and will be deployed to the issuers directly. Chintai does not hold issuers and investors' funds.

Step 3:

Research & Exploration

Understand and analyse the token structure, including its utility and rights, as well as the terms and conditions of the offering, such as the lock-up period, vesting schedule, and distribution plan. You also need to look at the issuer's background, experience, and reputation, as well as their financial performance and future growth prospects. Verify the underlying assets that back the security token and ensure they are authentic, transparent, and of sufficient value to support its price. And finally, look out for relevant regulations and laws to avoid potential legal issues.

Step 4:

Trade your token of choice

Once you have secured all the information, evaluate your personal investment goal and risk appetite. You might also review your overall portfolio with professional advisers to check if your portfolio requires rebalancing once you have added digital assets. Now, you can buy your token on the account that is funded, monitor the tokens, and have an investment exit strategy that is aligned with your investment goals.
